Try Mie Koclok Bu Ijah For First Time!

Hello everyone, I'll share a little bit about my new experience. It was my first time eating an authentic dishes from one of my mom's hometown in West Java, Cirebon. It's called Mie Koclok or Shaked Noodle. Mie koclok (shaked), is an Indonesian chicken noodle soup (of course is a local food), a specialty of Cirebon city, West Java. The noodles come with a white-colored extra-thick soup (gravy), made of chicken broth and coconut milk, which is mixed with corn starch. Mie Koclok without white cabbage, sprouts, and sambal. Actually, the serving of the portion is not that large and you can have it as a light meal. But if you haven't had your lunch you may want to have another plate to served. Mie Koclok is my family's favorite dish when we are traveling to Cirebon. I thought this food isn't that great because it looks plain but when it's served, I can totally taste that chicken broth mixed in white gravy soup dancing on my tongue. They said the tas
